FIFA regulations

Aligned with the FIFA Football Agent Regulations

Futransfer does not provide representation services: licensed football agents do. Our job is to make sure every proposal complies with the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR) before it reaches the club.

  • Art. 11 FFAR

    A valid FIFA licence

    Only football agents with a valid FIFA licence operate. If a licence is suspended or expires, access is suspended.

  • Arts. 12 & 16 FFAR

    Standing over every player

    Presenting a player requires one of three routes: a representation agreement with the player, a representation agreement with the releasing club (mandate) or a collaboration agreement with the agent who represents them.

  • Art. 16.1 FFAR

    Exclusivity respected

    We don't accept proposals for a player under an exclusive representation agreement with another agent without that agent's collaboration.

  • Arts. 12.8 & 12.9 FFAR

    No conflicts of interest

    In each transaction the agent acts for one party only. Dual representation is only possible between the player and the engaging club, with both parties' prior written consent.

  • Art. 13 FFAR

    Protection of minors

    Only agents who have completed FIFA's course on representing minors may present players under 18.

  • Art. 16.2 FFAR

    Transparency towards FIFA

    Representation agreements and collaboration agreements between agents are uploaded to the FIFA Agent Platform within 14 days.
